Most clients enjoy smooth, hair-free skin for about three to six weeks. Timing depends on individual hair growth cycles and hormones; regular waxing can slow regrowth and make hair appear finer over time.

Some discomfort is normal, especially on sensitive areas, but pain is brief. We minimize it with quick technique, skin-calming pre-treatments, cooling aftercare, and experienced technicians. Avoid caffeine and arrive relaxed to reduce sensitivity.

Yes in most cases — we perform a consultation and patch test first. We use gentle waxes and calming products for sensitive skin; however, certain medications or recent treatments may require postponement, which we'll discuss during booking.

Avoid heavy exfoliation, chemical peels, retinoids and strong acids for at least 48 to 72 hours before waxing. Aftercare: no hot showers, saunas, vigorous exercise or makeup for 24 hours; use soothing, fragrance-free products to calm skin.

Ideally hair should be about a quarter to a half inch (roughly 6–12 mm) so wax can grip properly. Too-short hair may not remove cleanly; if hair is too long we'll trim slightly for a comfortable, efficient waxing session.

Active skin infections, sunburn, open wounds, recent chemical peels, or use of oral/topical retinoids and certain acne medications can prevent waxing. Inform us of medications, pregnancy or medical conditions and we'll advise or suggest alternatives.
