Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Manicure - Builder Gel.

Builder gel generally lasts 2–4 weeks depending on nail growth and daily wear. Regular fills every 2–3 weeks maintain strength and appearance and help prevent lifting or breakage.

For weak or damaged nails, builder gel is often a better option. It adds flexible reinforcement and a natural look without the heavier bulk and stronger chemicals found in acrylic systems.

Improper removal can harm nails. Always have builder gel soaked off or professionally filed by a technician to minimize thinning and maintain healthy natural nail integrity.

Appointments typically take 45–75 minutes depending on nail condition and chosen polish. Time includes full nail and cuticle care, gel application, curing, polish, and a nourishing hand massage.

Regular polish can be applied, but adherence may vary. We recommend gel polish or a proper base coat applied by your technician for best long-lasting results and a flawless finish.

Avoid harsh chemicals, wear gloves for chores, apply cuticle oil daily, moisturize hands, and schedule routine fills. Don’t pick at edges to prevent lifting and maintain longevity.
